Blue Pimpernel

Ah, my favourite flower of them all - The Pimpernel (and yes, this is how I chose my screename).

Pimpernels are usually thought to be red, probably because of the famous book "The Scarlet Pimpernel", but there are blue ones aswell and I like them better.

I took this picture (and many many more, actually) last week on a trip to the north of the country with my boyfriend. We both took our cameras and spent most of the time moving from flower to flower and taking photos...
